Training Programs
The Department organizes the following training programmes to enhance the skills of veterinary professionals and educate farmers on best practices.
Livestock Inspector Refresher Training
A five-day refresher training program for the existing Livestock Inspectors of the department is being conducted at the District Livestock Farm, Hosur, and the District Livestock Farm, Naduvur.
Farmer Training Program
A one-day training program on best management practices for farmers is being organized at the District Livestock Farm, Naduvur.
Capacity Building for Veterinarians (One Health)
It is proposed to provide training to 200 Department Veterinarians under the training component of the scheme "Assistance to States for Control of Animal Diseases" (ASCAD) under the One Health initiative.
